What we are trying to do differently
Most pages answering these questions bury the answer. They open with several paragraphs of throat-clearing, restate the question twice, and deliver the actual information somewhere around the fold. We put the answer in the first sentence and then explain it for the people who want the explanation.
Every article on this site opens with a direct answer block. If that block is all you needed, you are free to leave, and we would rather you left satisfied than stayed confused.
What we will not do
- We do not invent numbers. Where a figure changes frequently, such as a subscription price or a settlement payout, we tell you how to find the current one rather than quoting a number that will be wrong in a month.
- We do not fabricate sources. If we cannot verify something, we say so plainly instead of attributing it to a study that does not exist.
- We do not report on private individuals. Trending search data is full of ordinary people’s names attached to accidents and court records. Those are not stories, and we do not build pages from them.
- We do not chase death rumours or arrest news. That traffic is real and we are leaving it on the table deliberately.
About the claims section
Our class action and settlement pages explain how to verify a notice, read a class definition, and recognise the fraudulent claim sites that imitate real ones. They do not tell you that you are owed a specific sum, because only the court-approved documents can tell you that.

Corrections
If something here is wrong, we want to know, and we would rather hear it from you than leave it live. Use the contact page and point us at the specific claim. Corrections are made to the page itself rather than buried in a footnote.
How pages get updated
Answers that depend on current conditions, such as which service carries a channel or which settlements are open, are reviewed on a regular cycle. Pages that answer stable questions, such as what a crossword clue means or how to root a cutting, are updated when we learn something worth adding rather than on a schedule for its own sake.
